Mission Statement:

The mission of the Spring View Middle School Counseling Department is to serve all students by providing a quality educational program, which ensures that each student has the opportunity to meet the student’s academic, career, personal, and social needs.

Spring View Middle School offers counseling in personal and social concerns, academic needs and career and college planning.

Personal Counseling

Personal Counseling

  • Personal counseling is available to students upon request from a student or parent/guardian or by referral from a teacher, coach or administrator.
  • The school counselor is available to assist students with a wide range of personal problems. The counselor is not there to make decisions for the student, but can provide information which will help the student arrive at his or her own decisions.
  • School counselors are available for parent conferences and referral resources as needed or upon request.
  • Crisis intervention counseling, drug and alcohol abuse prevention information, education, and referrals are always available.

Incoming 7th grade Parent Orientation

Starting middle school can be an anxious time for students and families. Our staff is here to support you through this transition. Normally in the spring, we host 6th grade tours on our campus and provide a parent orientation night. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we will need to conduct these events virtually.
